Message	as possible because the exhaust gas cools very quickly the further it travels away from the cylinder. I installed mine in the exhaust manifolds just before the turbo mounting flange. You don't need any hardware, but you do need to drill and tap the manifolds to the proper thread size. I think mine were 1/8" NPT WARNING: I lack industry backing
